The Terracotta Warriors Outline
The Terracotta Warriors, also known as the Terracotta Army is a bunch of human size sculptures depicting the army of Shi Huang Di when he was ruling. The reason the Terracotta Warriors were built is because they are supposed to protect Shi Huang Di in the after life. The Warriors were unknown until 1974 when some local farmers discovered the Warriors in the Lintong district of Xi'an. Other non-millitary figures were discovered in other pits including strongmen, officials, acrobats and musicians.
What does the Warriors pit tell me about life in China
Looking at the Terracotta Warriors tells me that all of the ancient stories are true. It tells me that in ancient China every emperor especially Shi Huangdi had many servants. It tells me that in ancient China they enjoyed entertainment including having acrobats and musicians around.
